UZ7HO Sound-Modem update

UZ7HO has again updated his Sound-Modem software. Below a part of the latest changes. With the current 2400 BPSK experiments on QB50p2 this version is a great improvement to decode these QP50p2 telemetry 2400 data.

High-Speed SoundModem v0.03b changes:
- Changed LPF filter in HAPN 4800 baud mode.
- Little code optimization.
- Fixed some minor bugs.

SoundModem v0.80b changes:
- Added new BPSK 2400 baud modem.
- Little code optimization.
- Fixed some minor bugs.

  1. Hello. I have tried the new version of Soundmodem on the QB50p1 satellite and it´s receiving very well. But, I can not get a decoding, I only get “NOX AX.25” message. Do you have any information how to setup Soundmodem to get a KISS decoding just like the Warbler software?

  2. Hello Lars,

Nice to see that you are trying to decode the QB50 satellites.

You mis one thing. The Sound-Modem is also sending kiss data to a tcp port
default tcp/8000 so you need to use an extra software program to decode the
kiss data. On the website from DK3WN (http://www.dk3wn.info/software.shtml) you can find AGW ONLINE KISS this software connects to UZ7HO and will display the decoded data. So you need the following:

RX -> UZ7HO -> AGW ONLINE KISS = decoded data. I hope this will help you in decoding the data.
